AJAX Enabled Carts
Easy Shipping Restrictions has support for AJAX enabled carts (either popups or side panels/drawers). However, targeting all themes is pretty tricky given the flexibility Shopify offers for theme authors. If you install Easy Shipping Restrictions and don’t notice a difference to your cart:
- Try to disable your AJAX cart for one that is a standalone page. This is commonly found within your theme's options.
If you are using a theme created by Shopify, you can do disable Ajax carts from you Shopify Store Admin. When logged into your Shopify Admin, from the left sidebar choose: Online Store > Themes > Customize > Settings > Cart. This view will have a drop-down where you can set the type of cart you want to use. Set this to drop-down to Page. - Try to use your AJAX cart and Easy Shipping Restrictions outside of the Shopify Theme editor.
Sometimes the theme editor has heavy JavaScript that impedes some of Easy Shipping Restrictions' functionality.
